Hi!!!
I was the same way when I was about the time where you are. I had an aful time with the shakes.. What I ended up doing was the same things like Eldy said I ound foods that were soft and easily chewed to nothing to subsitute. two key things that I would eat was I made home made beef stew and then pureed it in the blender then I got all the protein from the meat but it was easier to go down. The othe was pured meatballs with a little home made sauce and pured homade chicken soup...Everyone is welcome to the meeting it is AWSOME that your huuby wants to come makes it easier for you!! :) I will also be there if you need any help!!!!

Patti- Unjury has a chicken broth. It has 20g protein per serving with 8oz water. It's not homemeade but it doesn't taste like over-ripe bananas. Hope this helps!!!~~~~~~~~Kim

Patti, my dr. said two weeks after surgery, but I want some food. A tablespoon of scrambled egg, or grounded tuna fish will suit me just fine.  This opisourse is not hitting on much. I don't think I am really hungry, but I just need a fix of a little bit of food. As of this am, I have lost 21 lbs. That is the two weeks before surgery and now 5 days since.  I feel good, except just sore and still a little bloated.

See ya!

Eldy,

I googled the information you have listed and found this on Bariatric Advantage:

http://www.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog/itemHandler?id=102 7

I also found some brand names of the iron that you are requesting:
Feostat, Ferrets, Hemocyte, Ircon, Nephro-Fer, Femiron, Fumasorb, Ferrimin 150, Ferrocite

Maybe if you look for the name brands listed above...?
