Hello,
Both my husband and I went thru an insurance denial. We did finally get banded but it took us almost a year. I know that it is tough to believe right now, but in the end it will be worth it. And keep trying.
If I can give you any suggestions they would be to call-call-call the insurance company and keep talking to people until you find someone who is willing to help you. There were days that I called 2 or 3 times until I got someone to help. If you can, go to your HR team and see if they can help you with dealing with the insurance company. Also, have all of your doctors write a letter for you signifying the MEDICAL NEED to have the surgery. (the term "medical need" is key there, it can help to sway the insurance company)
It will be frustrating at times and you will want to scream (if it helps go for it) but this is something that you are doing to make your life better and it is worth it.
Good luck, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
