I have Dr. Harry Sax. He is with Miriam Hospital. I am almost sure that he performs the DS. I am trying to get the VSG which is a part of the DS procedure and he is the one who will be performing the surgery.  If you would have any other questions PM me and I will be happy to try and help you.
Good Luck!

Hugs, Tiffany

As I don't know if anyone does the procedure in RI, and with what frequency, I'd call the surgeons in RI and ask if they do the procedure.  You've got Drs. Pohl and Giovanni at Roger Williams Hospital, Drs. Roye, Ryder (401-553-8303) and Harrington at RI Hospital, and Drs. Sax and V (long Indian name you can probably find by going to the Lifespan website) at Miriam Hospital.  The RIH and Miriam doctors you can find on the Lifespan website.

Then, I'm sure you can find out about the doctor's style from those of us here.

Did you call the doctor??  What's up?

Praying it's nothing serious and that you are back on your way to weight loss.

Topic: D/S in Rhode Island? Tell me more!
Hi Everyone,

I live in Boston where *no one* does the D/S.  It was off my radar for a long time and I've actually completed about 1/2 of the Tufts pre-op program.

Who's the best in RI for DS surgery?

Thanks so much!
