I'm a big fan of the Nectar Roadside lemonade. It is a little bland on it's own, but add in some crystal light lemonade mix and it'd great.
Also for a milk based protien, i suggest Isopure Creamy Vanilla (avail at GNC).

I had Dr V "install" a Realize band in me on 5/4. So far I have lost 42 lbs, so it does work if you commit yourself to it and work hard at it.
I will admit Dr V was really pushing me to do the GB which I did not want, so if you feel the band is right for you...stick with it and be firm!
Be patient, too. My initial appointment was back in 3/08. After going through all the tests and such, it turns out my insurance required a 6-month medically supervised weight loss program (many do). So i was initially denied and had to go through that process through Dr V's office.

Hi Eldy,
This would be the only time that you should eat and drink at the same time. If you don't have something in your stomach the alcohol will hit you like a ton of bricks. I have probably had 3-4 drinks post-op, I have never really been a drinker. Have fun! Enjoy the 4th!

I just wanted to ask for prayers and well wishes for my son, Travis, who is being deployed for the 3rd time to Afganastan/Iraq for an undetermined amount of time. He has a 1 year old daughter and fiancee stateside. Prayers to keep him safe would be greatly appreciated. Thank all of you in advance~~~~~~Kim
