Romeo, I'm sorry to see you're still not feeling better. IV antibiotics are very strong- so they can do their job!!! Just try to take good care of yourself. And at try to eat or at least drink something so you don't end up back in the hospital. Get better soon!!!!!!!~~~~~~Kim

When I have surgery I always get messed up for the 1st month or 2 if this keep up I would call your doctor but, I had the same kind of problem with 2 surgery of mine. Good luck take care

To all my friends that I miss so much I am sorry i haven't been here much lately, my health has kept me off the PC even though am feeling a little better still am taking antibiotics intravenously which really makes my pouch sick and make it impossible to eat even the foods I liked after surgery don't go down good. I hope everyone is having a good summer and that I will be back to normal as soon as possible

Topic: Question for the ladies?!?!?
So I'm about 3 1/2 months post op and the past couple of days I have been spotting. My period is not due for a week. I thought that there was a chance my period would be a bit messed up by all this surgery and weight loss but didn't think it would be this late out. Has anyone been previously regular and had bleeding at unexpected times? I am not on a birth control pill so it would have nothing to do with that. Thanks for your help!!!

I'm really sorry to hear that you're continuing to feel lousy. I just hope that you soon get the help you need to get better. I could tell you all the things others have said to you in the past but I'm gonna send you prayers hugs and best wisshes instead in hopes that all turns out well. Keep us posted,

hi everyone...
thanks to all those who have been concerned about me, and have written... your thoughtfulness was much appreciated..makes me know i have friends here...
it's been about 2 weeks since i have been on. things havent been the best but i am getting through it. i am actually seeing the doctor tomorrow, and hopefully he will have some answers to why i still am having issues with food. i cant begin to tell you how much money i have spent trying to find something to agree with me...whether it be food or drink!!!! and something i can tolerate...
i wanted to wait until i got home from vacation... i know some of you are already yelling at the screen, wishing i can hear you, but i didnt want to ruin the holiday for my family... but now my body doesn't have much of a choice.
we'll see what tomorrow brings... i am hoping it is just the opening being too small, and he is ready to scope!!!! that was what he mentioned the last time!
no matter how small of a bite, or how much i chew, it always comes back up..and the crappy part is, i have only lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks. my body is holding hatever it has hostage, and not giving it up...aaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhh
anyway... i hope all is well with everyone...i tried to update myself reading all of the posts!

Topic: I'm Hungry!!!!!!
I'm 5 weeks out and up until last week had no appetite. I actually had to force myself to eat . Today I could eat a horse!!!!!...........I thought that my appetite would diminish post-op. I did choose good foods and appropriate amounts but I ate my supper a little too fast. So far I feel ok. Could this be just "head- hunger". My stomache wasn't growling but it was whispering food, food, food!!! My plan is for one more snack later on tonight- maybe protein bar 'cuz they're filling. Any insight would be appreciated.
