Topic: anyone need a treadmill?

Hi everyone,

I know I'm not around lately, life is terribly hectic. I do check in and read posts every few days though and it sounds like everyone is doing great!

But on to my reason for posting...... I am selling my treadmill that I bought after my surgery because I just dont have the time to use it any more. I thought I should post a message here because I'm letting it go really cheap and maybe I can help someone get a good deal who might otherwise spend a lot more. Its a Nordictrack 2250 and new runs $1000. I'm posting it on Craigslist at $400 but anyone here who wants it can have it for $350. You can call me on my cell if you are interested 401-219-1205.

Miss everyone and hope to be back in the swing of things soon!!

Angela

Hi Linda,

I have to agree with Eldy, I've been reading but not really posting anything. Now that summer is here, I've been trying to be more active and time has a way of getting away from me. Glad your feeling better.

Topic: Hair loss? Hair color? help?
Ok...  for the women on this forum who color their hair.  I am very nervous to color my hair ( something I have done for years), because I am now starting to lose hair.  I am afraid that the process of coloring my hair may cause the hair to fall out more aggresively.  You know how it is hard to rinse out? Well, like that.  Any experiences or advise??  I really want to color it.  HELP!!       Thanks!   Eldy

Hi Linda!  sorry, I haven't been answering posting lately.  I've been reading, just not saying anything ( I know, its so unlike me to not say anything, LOL).  I am soooo glad to hear you are doing better!!! Thats awesome!   It just gets better from here.   Especially, with the weather getting better, now you can spend some more time outside and active.  It really helps to make you feel more alive.  Good for you!  Take care of yourself and hope to see you soon!!!   Eldy

I have a variety of vitamins and try to mix them up so I can stomach them haha..I have some centrum liquid, I also use flintstones chewables or the comprable wal-mart brand, and I have some bariatric advantage chewables that are okay too.  Being only 3 1/2 weeks out from surgery not alot sounds appetising to me, so I take what ever vitamin I feel I can stomach that day.  Once in the am and once in the pm.  I also take b complex suppliments.  I will be having blood work done in sept to see how my levels are, so Im kind of curious as to how Im doing.  My NUT says Im fine with what Im doing. soooooooooooooooo...........

GNC has a women's vitamin that you can get in powder form (vanilla flavored).  You can mix that in with your protein shake for the morning meal.  It does have calories though, so you'll want to use it in conjunction with your meal replacement protein drink.

I also have used the Flintstone chewables, they aren't too bad.

Good luck.
