I just wanted to check in and say hello to all of you wonderful people! I have been thinking about how much my life has changed since i started my journey and it truly is because of the great support from you wonderful people. I actually weigh less than what my license says, which was a distant dream and a joke a while ago. I feel like nothing is holding me back now and my confidence has a huge boost.

THANK YOU ALL SOOO MUCH! It is nice to come on here and know that there are people who were there with you, have been through this experience, are going through this experience... No one else understands but you! I love you all and miss you! I wish i could see you all soon but school is a doozy!

Pain starts out sharp when I eat or drink- under breast bone and radiates down and to the left. The pain remains sharp but expands through abdominal cavity as my stomach gets full. Once stomach is empty again the pain goes away until I am stupid enough to eat or drink again.
If only I could just stop eating and drinking things would be fine.
It is getting harder and harder mentally to eat/drink in the am. I put it off as long as possible (today until after 1pm) just because I did not want the pain.
Off to the gastroenterologist next ...once they give me an appointment that is.

OMG Brian ~ I went through the same EXACT thing almost 2 years ago!!! I was scheduled to have surgery 11/29 and did my prep the day before - showed up at the hospital as I was instructed at 6 am. I was called in to an office and my husband and I were told that Dr. Roye's wife was in labor. OMG - the emotions I went through - like you... how can anyone be upset with the doctor or his wife... of course that is where he should be. But man, the pity party I threw for myself - I was dumbfounded! I didn't have to deal with the office staff much for this other than pressure them to get me rescheduled ASAP as the Christmas holidays were coming and I wanted to be feeling better before they came. Best of luck to you ~ hope to meet you at a meeting soon as I need to get myself back there - getting too comfortable in my new (saggy) skin!

Hang in there. I've been wanting sweets lately as well, think it is stress too. Hope we can all make this month's meeting, with work - moving - and new puppies I've been MIA too. It will be like a big reunion.

I picked a surgeon Dr. Jeanine Giovanni. I have all my pre-ops scheduled in the next two weeks, very excited!!!! My first appointment is July 1st with Dr.Giovanni
