Mornin Everybody,

Good morning all, Today has not started out good, but I hope it will get better. My car broke down twice on the way to work and it was right smack dab in the middle of the road so alllll the traffic had to go around me and it was awful. Now I am sitting at my desk at work and the sun is beating down on my head, and it is giving me a headache. TGIF!!

Kris, I know, go home get back in bed, and get up again...Maybe that'll work? lol..I hate when days start out like that...but Lets hope its a better day as it goes on.. Teri

hellooo, good morning. apparently i'm the last one up around here.. lol i've got a big day ahead for me.. going to see Dr. roye, and HOPEFULLY get the rest of these damn staples out. I'mnot entirely sure if they'll all come out, or if they'll try to stick me shut in another way - because i'm still "weeping" from a few spots. Can I just tell you, this is verging on really annoying at this point? I'm sick of changing dressings and bleeding over everything because i missed a spot of drainage. lol he should be taking out my JP drain too. I think I may be more excited about this than anything. My parents dog has almost taken it out on his own - twice. Once he got his head lasso'd through the tubing, and then this morning he decided to try to "shake" when I wasn't looking and got his paw lasso'd!! DAMN that hurts. So that's at 2:15. My boyfriend is now waiting at Newport hospital to go into surgery [same day, should be an easy procedure], I'm definitely stressed about this. there are so many weirdo things that can go on with quad's, that even easy procedures can get screwed up. But - i'm sure everything will go fine. After my doc's appt, I'm going to Jamestown to see Jay AND pick up my doggie so I can bring her back here. I'm leaving my cat there.. because as long as my incision is still open - you can't get me anywhere near him. After my last surgery, I landed me in the hospital for 2 weeks with a crazy infection Brigham and Women's couldn't control. I got Cat Scratch Fever. It was awful. The worst thing I've ever gone through- so I'm not taking any chances. But - it will be fantastic to have my dog here, too. I miss her sooooooooooooo freaking much! Plus, she's been misbehaving very badly since I've been gone, so I don't want them to have to deal with her, while taking care of Jay after surgery. so now's as good a time as any to pick her up!! yay!! hope y'all have a great day! looks like it's goingto be gorgeous! kristen

Mornin Kris, Yep you're the last one up....what's up didn't they put the internal alarm clock in you during surger? lmao... Well I hope Dr Roye takes that damn drain out....oh and I think maybe he'll either take your staples out and maybe glue the others closed or leave them in for a little longer... I'm glad you're getting your dog...I missed my Gucci so much while I was in the hospital...now he's like on me like flys on crap lol...he won't let me outta his site..he's such a big baby... I hope Jay makes out good in his surgery....My prayers are with him.. let me know how you make out.. Love ya Teri

Well, I'm not the last up but last to check in LOL. It certainly is a beautiful day, wish I could stay home and hang out with you guys......my hubby tried to get me to call in sick but I just couldn't. Hope everyone who is a little under the weather feels better soon and those of you who are out and about recently from surgery take it easy and enjoy the day. i go to Salon Sante, in Narragansett. at Pier Marketplace [by the town beach, behind the police station] to get my hair cut.. they do nails there, too. Call them! (401) 783-5056 Kristen

i think they put a 'stay up too late' button in when they did my surgery. i can't seem to get to sleep anytime before 1am. i've been getting up around 8:30am, so that's not too bad. just takes me awhile before i get on the computer. i find that once i'm on the computer, i forget to drink.. so i try to get 24oz in before i sit down up here. lol i'll let you know how everything goes later tonight.. it's gonna be a longggg day!!! xoxox kristen
