Hi everybody!!

well today is the first day that I've gotten up and moved around...feeling way better than I did just a few days ago. 2 trips to the ER and then a 2 day stay for what seems to be a massive overload of infection. About 3 weeks ago, I had pharygitis, sinusitis and tonsilitis and was given some antibiotics to clear it up. WELL...................umm............. I really felt better and didn't take the antibiotic for the full 10 days. That came back to haunt me in a bad way. I had to have my sinuses aspirated (way not fun) and I'm waiting for the black eyes to appear. My fever raged at over 104 for over 3 days. And on top of it, I have asthma and developed walking pnumonia from not moving much. needless to say, I felt pretty bad. but I'm much better. after all the drugs and the numerous bags of intravenou fluids due to dehydration, I really started feeling much better right away....but I'm weak and still can't swallow well. I'm 42....they may want to take my tonsils. . I actually got up and took a shower today and feel human. And Teri called me yesterday (God love her ) cause she was worried about me. With my husband gone away on business for a couple of weeks, I was alone to take care of myself. She doesn't know how nice it was to hear her voice. And let me tell you..........she sounded GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! I just couldn't get over how she sounded just a week prior (right after surgery) and then how she sounded yesterday. She's doing great and I'm so happy about that. I haven't had a chance to talk to Kristen yet since she's been at her parents, but I hope she's doing well. Teri told me about the massive incision and wow......she really went through a lot. and there is a moral to this story.........I DID NOT follow Dr's instructions on how to take my meds....and I did what I thought was good for me. hmmmm....who'd a thunk it....I'm not as smart as they are when it comes to this kind of thing. So my hat's off to those folks who had to fix me because I DID NOT do as I was instructed. I have definitely learned my lesson and will follow any Dr.'s orders down to the last letter. I could have really done some harm had I not followed instruction after my upcoming surgery...what a dummy... take care everyone....I'll be as good as new in a few days. you all be good to yourselves and be well. thank you to those who emailed me with well wishes.
