Well Teri is still in ICU as of 8:45pm, and she is listed in FAIR condition...which is good. That's to be expected after her surgery this morning. I'm SO proud of her. SHE DID IT!!! YAY!! I can't wait to see her tomorrow. I will be sure to pass on all the well wishes so that she knows how much we care about her. Thank you everyone, for all of your kind words. Teri's , Shel

yes, everyone is put into ICU for 12-24 hours after their surgery. We're in there with the transplant people! That's how serious they take us.. makes me feel good, thats for sure!! Kristen

Hi Claudia: Yes, it's normal. We'll all go, is what I hear. Kris says 12 hours in ICU...then they move you. And that is what the lady at RIH told me too. She may be moved into a room tonight, but I'll call in the morning to make sure. She's OK...don't be alarmed. All is well. And I will certainly tell her you were asking about her. All this support is going to make her so happy. Thank you. Shel

Hi lisa, first of all welcome to the april losers, and congrats on your new journey, for me when I had the same discomfort I would put a pillow under my side just a little to prop me up and make it a bit more comfy, the sleeping part is really hard the first 2 weeks I think I slept 24 hours in the whole 2 weeks it was very rough but it will get better, just try and relax keep taking your pain pills when you sleep i did that and it did help a bit.......good luck hugs and love lisa
