nightmares....

Ok I wasn't going to post this...but its buggin me... Last night, I took my sleeping pills, I got all cozy and I thought it was going to be a wonderful night sleep. I fell asleep and I started dreaming...I kept waking myself up because they were crazy dreams...finally at 4am I just got up, went downstairs and got on the puter...then around 5am I decided to lay down on the couch and try to sleep...I was nightmaring again...they didn't make sence...my 1st husband died about 5 years ago...and I remarried 6 years ago...well in the dream the 1st was trying to get me to go with him and my current was saying no stay with me....its really bothering me....what the frig do ya think....???? *rollin eyes* am I just losin it? Hi Terri I have take over the counter sleeping pills..like Tylenol pm and I also have had nightmare....and weird dreams...I stopped them and got something from my doctor..... It's not you..its the meds...

Carol, Thanks, but these are sleeping pills from the doctor, I've been taking them for awhile now...I think maybe because the surgery so soon, and it's on mind mind so much that maybe that's what caused it....I hope I get some sleep tonight...It's like I'm afraid to fall asleep...cuz I don't want to dream like that again....oh well I guess I'll type on here until I just can't anymore...then maybe i'll be so exhausted nothing will bother me lol. Teri: I take Amitriptoline, prescribed by my PCP and I have nightmares. Nightmares are caused by an overworked mind, so my psychiatric nurse practitioner tells me. I was badly abused as a child and I have nightmares quite often....I don't remember them, but Tom has to wake me or I'll just continue screaming. The fact that you are remembering what you were dreaming says that you were not in a "deep" sleep and these nightmares are from anxiety (VERY COMMON). As Carol said, don't worry about it and don't put any stock in the dream itself. Your mind is working like crazy and you're very anxious right now. The dreams do not mean anything and you're going to be OK! Now go get those tongs ready!!! Love ya! Shel

lol Shelli... I bought 2 pairs on tongs...the first pair I bought were metal..and I kinda thought they might hurt...so I went out and bought kitchenaide black plastic ones....I think they will be better.Lmao... Last night I slept fine...I keep waking up around 5 am but maybe cuz I fall asleep around 10 who knows... 4 more days..and its the day!!! love ya Ter
