Hi Trish........welcome.....or should I say, welcome back!!!! You're welcome here anytime friend. I do think most of us are having surgery here in RI, and believe it or not, most of us are seeing Dr. Roye....but that doesn't matter. ALL are welcome here. I think I did see a post that someone was having surgery in MA (insurance reasons), but that person doesn't post too often, but I'll look and see if I can find that post again. I'll send it to you when I find it. Regardless, we are here to offer support where ever you have your surgery. Good luck with all of your testing and I hope all goes well for you and the process is speedy. 2 of our RI sisters are having surgery next week, so they are the focus right now, but we welcome ALL who come by. It's so good to have you here and I hope you post often so we can get to know you. {{{{{{{{{welcome}}}}}}}} Shel

It is BCBS HMO Blue. My PCP is in Mass, When I was living in Warren, RI., he was actually closer than any other choice I had for RI. without going out of network. (and the out of pocket costs for that is outragous) I had called Blue Cross before even asking my PCP and could not find a baratric surgeon in RI that was in the HMO Blue network. plus....my PCP would only refer me to this program at the NEMC. It actaully seems like a very good program. Just veryyyyyy far!!!! The behavior classes they have me attending start at 11am. I have to leave here (Warwick) by 8:30am to get there on time. I know the worst thing for me is I probably will not take advantage of all the support groups and meetings they have just because of the commute. The required ones are great though (o: Trish
