I HAVE A DATE!!!!!!!!

I have a date, it's MAY 23, I can hardly contain myself.... If anyone has any advice on things I should do to prepare myself, things I should bring with me to the hospital, anything I would greatly appreciate it. Please feel free to e-mail me, thanks........

Hi, I am so jealous. I go to Dr Harrington this Thurs so hopfully everything is a go and he will give me a date also. I am hoping for the end of May or soon after that. Claudia

Hey Claudia, Goodluck with your appointment. I finished all of my pre-op testing on February 14, and my date is the end of May, I had hoped it'd be sooner also. I think it all happens for a reason. I am just happy my time is finally here and I have all of these wonderful people on this site to share this journey with. Keep me posted on your date........T...

definitely bring your own pillow- but have whoever is with you keep it in the car until you've been brought to your room. you really don't need to bring that much.. you most likely won't use/need it. wear really loose clothes to the hospital, and you can wear the same things home when you're done. bring some slippers! rubber soles, not slippery ones.. the freebies they give you pretty much suck. chapstick!!! definitely chapstick. your lips will be so dry. that's all i can think of right now.. kristen

I too have an appointment with Dr. Harrington one hour after Claudia this coming Thursday. I just hope all goes well with my test results. Getting a little nervous too..... Hopefully, I will meet Claudia as she comes out, as we chat but have never met. Hey Claudia, maybe we will be room mates!! Best of luck Carol B
