Well, I went to Dr. Roye's
All my tests were fine, except for my gallbadder..He is booking into July now, and he doesn't want me to wait until then because my gallbladder is bad...so he wants me to use his partner Beth Ryder...She can take me in sooner for the surgery. Supposedly she works with him and he trusts her with his patients, he said she wouldn't be his partner if he didn't trust her...so they will call me this afternoon to schedule a date for next week for me to meet with her and schedule my appointment....so I'm STILL WAITING...lol....Well at least I know that I don't have to wait until July...thats a good thing...On a sadder note, my sister called me while I was in Dr Roye's office to tell me that my Aunt died this morning...I lost my mother 10 months ago and now my only aunt is gone...I'm so sad....

Wow July! Holy Smokes! well I have heard of her, but she is very new. I believe she was at the last support meeting if I remember correctly. The question is, how long has she been doing this? How many has she done?
I thought I heard them say something about her starting lap bands in their office....did u hear that?

Oh Teri, I'm so sorry for your loss. There's nothing I can say to make you feel better,...just know we're here if you need to talk or vent or anything. Don't let the stress get to you, now that you know about the gall bladder thing. Take care of yourself....your mom and aunt would have wanted it that way, I'm sure.
I have not heard of Dr. Ryder. I firmly trust Dr. Roye, but I don't know how I'd feel about her just jumping in at this point and taking over. Right now, take it easy. Breathe. Then do some digging. Check her out. Dr. Roye has a point that she wouldn't be there if he didn't think she was good.
Big hugs to you today. Today was supposed to be the best day for you. I'm so sorry and please extend our condolences to your family. My heart is with you right now.
