Today is my day to go to go to Dr. Roye's and get my date...I'm a bit nervous, I'm hoping its not too far off...the waiting is killing me...I started this journey on November 16th(my 1st consult) and its been almost 5 months...Yesterday they called me from his office to tell me that they didn't have the results of my bloodwork, hidascan and chest exray....then she looked in the puter and found it all...I'd hope they would have called me if anything was wrong with any of my pre op testing but they didn't have it all until yesterday.......hmmmmm now I'm really nervous...well I'm off to get into the shower and start what I hope is a wonderful day...wish me luck...I'll write as soon as I get back.... Hey teri, I also met with Dr. Roye on the 31st, I'm waiting insurance approval before I get my testing done, I'm very excited! Dr. Roye said that I may be one of the first ten people to get the Lap Band surgery from him, (I don;t think that is a bad thing ) possibly in May.... but don't quote me on that, it could be just alot of hearing the possitive stuff and blocking out other stuff. But I remember him calling me "anal"... I think I did a little to much research and asked very specific, maybe too specific questions. I think he was joking I hope he was joking...Anyway he didn't mention anything about a support group and I was wondering whats up with that? Is it something you only get to go to once approved? Or am I imagining people talking about going to one? I know how you're feeling the waiting is killing me I want to know... can I get it or not?!?!?! ~Erin
