2:00pm. can't wait. I just got back from seeing my PCP and she's gotten me out of stage 2 hypertension (BP 165/102) down to pre-hypertension (BP 128/80) Woo freakin hoo!! Thanks to NaDene, I found a Dr. who can treat me for what ails me, rather than some preconceived notion of what should be done. I can't thank NaDene enough for leading me to Dr. Adams....I LOVE HER! And you too NaDene! Thanks! You're the best. Anyway, my innards are twirling. I go see Dr. Roye for my consult. I went through all of this last year with Dr. Pohl, but changed my mind. I waited a bit and now all is back on track. They're accepting most of my tests from last year and I really only need the sleep apnea test and the endoscopy. I'll see what he has to say about that today. I'm so excited, I'm sure my BP is stage 2 again....*whoops!*....but can't help it. You all know what I mean. The waiting.....and the waiting....and the waiting............it's a killer. But we're all progressing nicely and I'm hoping for surgery in July. Wish me the best today. I have a fist full of questions, but I'm sure I'll be a bumbling basket of nerves when I'm in there. Note to self......................CALM the hell down!!! K, all better now. I'll post when I know something. My best to all of you. Enjoy this nice spring day.......... Shelli

Hi Teri: It went great. I saw Helen and they have all of my test results from Dr. Pohl last year, so much of the testing is done and they will be scheduling my pulmonary function test very soon. My sleep apnea test is this next month and she says everything will be done BEFORE I even take that test, so I should be in shortly for a date. We talked for a while and she really eliminated some of my fears surrounding leaks. I have dreams about it. She explained Dr. Royes very extensive background and his rate of success / complications. He's good at what he does. VERY good. So I feel much, Much better and should have a date in about 3 weeks or so. And I know what you mean about being a nervous wreck. I literally walked into their big suite and had to sit for a minute and get myself together. I thought I was going to hyperventilate...LOL. But all in all, it was very comfortable and not at all frightening. I just got overly worked up thinking about it. DUH. OK, now, I'll be waiting here for you when you get back. Come and tell us the date. NaDene's in the end of June, so you should follow, and then I'll be behind you both. YAY. Can't wait til we all have a date and can breathe.....or is that when I'll hyperventilate??? LOL. Can't wait to hear from you. Good luck today. Shelli
