Is anyone seeing Dr. Roye??

hi there i got my date before my pre-op testing was done, actually. i have some extenuating cir****tances that i needed to see Dr. Roye for [incisional hernia that is causing severe amounts of pain.] I saw him on 1/17 and he gave me a date of 5/23. He put the date far out because of my sleep study. He refuses to do the surgery until I've been on a cpap machine for at least a month. I hven't started the cpap yet.. so once I do, Dr. Roye said he will consider moving my surgery up to a closer date. this waiting is killing me.. i feel like everything is getting dragged out longer than it needs to [i've had major insurance issues] but hopefully things will start moving quicker now.. kristen

I'm 3 months post-op and Dr. Roye was my surgeon. All I can say is that my surgery was flawless! I was out of the hospital in 2 days and I felt amazing. Let me know if you want to know anything more.

so how is everything going so far, how long till you could work again? Kristin

I went back to work half-days after 3 weeks. 5 weeks after surgery I was back full time. I feel great, almost like nothin' happened. So far I've lost 40 lbs. I am having a little problem with obsessive thoughts of food but physically I'm fine.
