Looking for support

Hi all, I am having WLS next Tuesday at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. I feel a bit like an RI traitor but my PCP recommended my surgeon, Dr. Lautz. I would really like to become part of the RI support group. Is it possible for me to attend the support group meetings at RIH? Looking forward to starting a new, healthier chapter in my life. Karen

Good Morning Karen: I wish you the Best of Luck....I to will be having surgery soon. (Feb 7). Mine will be at Roger Williams Hosp. Maybe we can keep in touch since we will both be new at life on the losing side. I would like to know about the support groups also. Maybe this is something they tell u in the hospital...
