Glenda, I have not had it done yet, but I have gone to see a PS for a consult about having a lower body life done. I went to see Dr. Pamela Antinouk who's office is right across the street from Women and Infants in the Southside Medical Building. She was absolutely wonderful!!!!! However, she advised me to wait until I have my first child and to lose another 17 lbs before doing the surgery to get the best result. She was very honest and spent a whole hour with me and my husband.

Hi Glenda, I am actually having a belt lipectomy (lower body lift) done with Dr. Antonuik next Friday 9/23. I am nervous but excited at the same time. Dr. Pohl recommended this surgeon to me and she is wonderful. I still have another 20 or so pounds to lose but I am having a hernia repair done at the same time with Dr. Pohl. The hernia was actually a good thing, helped with the expense! Good luck with your journey! Lisa
