Hi all, Way back when there was a woman who was a WLS patient and had opened a resale shop as a way to profit from her shrinking waistline - and help others do the same. I haven't heard from her in a while, but I am planning to take a ride to her shop tomorrow morning to check it out. I'll let you all know how it goes. For your own information, here it is... Zack's Thrift Avenue 15 Park Street Attleboro, MA 02703 (508) 223-3330 Open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 until 5:00; later on Wednesday nights. Happy shopping! Jen

Hi Jen, Let us know how it goes. She is less than a mile away from me and I still haven't checked it out. I am so lazy sometimes! Lisa

Okay, here's the update... I went on Friday morning to check out the place. The shop is really cute, well organized and very clean. Holly, the owner, was wonderful! She's 2.5 years out and looks fantastic! I talked with her for over an hour... I also dropped off some formal dresses (sizes 26 - 32) for consignment. I also bought two dresses and a gorgeous blazer. All of the summer stuff is half off right now, so I got all three pieces for $19.99! I will definitely be going back to bring more clothes for consigment, as well as to do more shopping. In addition to a large selection of casual clothing, she's got formal wear, wedding gowns, bathing suits, maternity and even uniforms. The sizes ranged from extra small to 4x, so there's something for everyone. She also has pocketbooks, shoes and some really nice jewelry. I got a stack of flyers to bring to the RIH meeting on Wednesday night. Let me know if you have any questions! Jen

Hey Jen, Thank you so much for this update...is this near or around LaSallette? I am from East Providence and don't make it by that 'neck of the woods' (the drama of living in RI) often. Glad you scored such a great deal on the outfits. I just think it's a great thing to have especially when you are transitioning through sizes, sometimes fast, sometimes verrrry sloww and you don't want to spend mad money on clothes you won't wear for that long. And you also get the opportunity to give back something too.
