Two Weeks Left

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I am sorry it has been a while since I dropped a line. I have been busy working at the hospital. Well I only have 2 more weeks until I have my surgery. I will be having surgery on July 5th. I have taught my last Pre Op teaching class for a while. Jen, another RN, from the 5ISC will be teaching starting this week. And yes I am going to go thru the whole class ( even though i have been teaching it for over 4 years). I have never sat thru the other instructors part of the classes. I am not getting nervous just excitied. Well I have house work to do. God Bless to all. Kellie

Hey Jen, How was the night out last week? I had to be at work for 3 am so I was not able to make it. Stop by and see me on wednesday after my surgery if you want. Ill be on 5isc of course and I love company plus you can show off the new you....lol..kellie

Well Jen like we learned in the "preoperative teaching classes", visting hours at techinical 11-1 and 5-7, buttttttt............ Come any time ......Im sure the gang wont be too tough on me, unless there is something major going on on the floor. (HA HA HA) 8-l see ya then ...kellie

Kellie, I hope the next two week don't seem like months, as they did for me! But let me tell you, it was well worth the wait! I had my surgery on May 16 and I am 37lbs lighter today. I can't believe how fast the weight is coming off. My size has dropped too. Good luck to you and we'll see you on the other side soon!

hi carol, thanks for the note. I am trying to keep as busy as possible between now and then. I am trying to pick up alot of Overtime at the hospital so I am not just hanging out at the house waiting. I have been very busy this week with 2-16.5 hr days and an 12 and an 8 so far this week with two days to go........I am so glad you are doing so well....Kellie

Hi Kellie! I remember your first post when you said you were getting the surgery, I was so excited and happy for you! I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers on July 5th for a successful and uneventful surgery, but alas....we have Dr. Roye who is an absolutely wonderful, highly skilled and experienced man! You are in GREAT hands! I had the surgery April 26th and have lost 50 lbs. so far. I feel fantastic and energized! We will all be here to welcome you to the LOOSING side!! Purrs, Dee~
