I have my second visit with Dr. Pohl tomorow to discuss all of the testing results. I am so nervous. I have some tests that may hold up or stop surgery...I just don't know. I still have a second endoscope scheduled for the first week of March to look at ulcers found on the first one. I'm nervous because my job is "downsizing" and I don't know if this is a good time to be out. I still can't believe that I might have the surgert soon, and I am so scared because I don't know if I can really stick with the new way of eating....I'm panicking over that, but so excited too .

Hi Jenn, It wasn't that long ago that I was in your situation. I'm almost 3 months post-op now and down 56 pounds. Dr. Pohl was my surgeon too. He was awesome. It's good to fear that you may not stick with the diet! This will help you to understand how important it all is! One thing I can tell you......if you don't stick to the diet, you will "dump". You don't want that! Keep writing to the board and ask lots of questions! We're all here for you! Good luck Megan B
