support group question

Even though I had my surgery at Roger Williams and Dr Pohl is my surgeon can I still go to RI hospital meetings? There are a few at our meetings from other states. I was just wondering. Shannon

Shannon, There are actually a lot of people from other hospitals and other states who come to the RIH meeting. You should definitely join us! I think the major benefit is that Dr. Roye and/or Helen, his Nurse Practitioner, are at every meeting. So you can ask questions and get real answers from medical professionals, not just someone else's expereince (which is valuable, too!) There is always a nutritionist at the meetings, too, which is of great value. Hope to see you there in February. Jen
