Dinner Group - Please Respond

Hello friends, As you know, we've been trying to get a group together to meet for dinner in January. We love the support group meetings, but think something a little more social will be fun. It's a way to meet great new people who have at least one major thing in common with you. We're looking for pre-ops and post-ops who are interested in both laughter and support. Family and friends can be there for you, but sometimes you just want straight answers from someone who has been through WLS. Since our buddy Em is going back to school soon, I was looking at either January 14th or January 15th. We're going to eat at Fire & Ice, because you can control your own portions as well as the ingredients. If you're interested, please get back to me by January 10th. I will need your name and phone number (cell too!) and I'll go ahead and make the reservations. Let me know which night you prefer and we'll go with the majority rule. Where is Fire & Ice located? Leila

Leila, Fire and Ice is downtown Providence. It is next door to the Providence Place Mall. You can park in the garage for the mall, go down to the bottom level of the mall, go outside and it is past the Uno's. Not sure if they have their own parking or not. I only went once and we parked at the mall since we were going to a movie afterwards. Anybody know if there is other parking? Megan

I am interested in going. The best day for me is the 15th. If it ends up being the 14th I may not be able to go due to child care issues. It will really depend on the time. Do you have a time in mind? Please keep me posted on what everyone decides. Megan
