Eating out in RI
Hi Everyone, I too would love to go out w/ some RI "Losers"... Count me in when the day comes. Marianne F.
P.S. I like Crow's Nest in Warwick... It has a "small portions" menu. I bet you still won't be able to eat it all but it's smaller & less expensive. Also
I like the Chinese Buffet idea, I love Chinese but it doesn't love me lol
I like Gregg's. They have one in Providence, East Providence, Warwick and I think one other town but not sure. They have a menu part with low cal etc. I ordered some fish the other night, plain with just lemon, they put some sauce on it that I wasn't interested in. I got my side as a baked potato and broccoli. I added some of the broccoli to the potato, and a little of the sour cream. I ate a few bites. I have to say adding a little sour cream does the trick with making it go down better. I ate about 60% of the fish.
I also like going to places where they have baked stuff shrimp. You can order like 2-4 pieces. I get 2 and usually eat 1 and a half. I try to do the seafood cause I like it and if you get it baked and broiled the calories are much less, not to mention you can usually have it the way you like at most places.
If you find anything really worth going to please let me know. I enjoy dining out but haven't found to many places that serve what I am looking for.
Thanks
Shannon
