Hi all, well....its countdown time I guess! I went for my sleep study, had to go back and found out I do have sleep apnea...my last appointment with Dr. Stanchina is the 22nd of Nov. I wanted to ask a little bit about the bloodwork up and how I go about that and others experiences when they had this done. After the bloodwork up I can then call Dr. Roye's office for an appointment to go over all the test results, right? Thanks for any info and insight!!

Hey Dee! I enjoyed our conversation the other night and am looking forward to meeting you. To answer your question: Once you've finished the other testing you go to 2 Dudley St to the lab on the first floor. You don't need an appointment for the bloodwork but you do have to fast. Be forewarned, they take a lot of vials of blood. I had to lie down half way through because I waited until the afternoon to do the bloodwork and hadn't eaten or drank anything since the night before. The amount of vials seems to vary from person to person but all in the 20 range. After the bloodwork you can make your appointment with Dr.Roye to go over your test results and get a surgery date. I sat in the parking lot and called! LOL. Hope this helps! Talk to you soon! Megan
