Prayers for Diana

Hi All, For those of you who come to the RIH Support Group Meetings, Diana is having her surgery tomorrow morning. She's a great young lady and I think we've all adopted her in our hearts. I just talked to her and she's nervous but she's ready. She has to be at RIH for 9:00 tomorrow morning. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks! Jen

Jen, I will definately keep Diana in my prayers. I'm a pre-op scheduled for November 29, and I'm sure I'll be "nervous but ready" as well! Jackie

HI All, Diana's mom called this morning. She had to be there at 8:00 amd wasn't taken into surgery until 2:00 in the afternoon. The surgery ended about 6:00 and she was moved to recovery. Mom said that she's doing well, but in a lot of pain (she had open). Dr. Harrington said that everything went well! Her new life has officially begun Jen

Jen, I attended my first support meeting this month at RIH. I was very impressed with the love and warmth emanating from the group. I was alone yet felt very welcomed. My surgery is scheduled for the 29th of this month, a week from Friday. I will keep Diana in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Jackie
