Plus Size Consignment Shops?

Hi all, Do any of you know of any consignment shops in RI that carry larger sizes? I have donated a lot of my "regular" clothing, but I have some outfits that I have paid $300.00 + for and I was looking for a good consignment shop. Any suggestions? Thanks! Jen

Jen, Near my area there is a place called savers. They take all sizes. The only problem I have found over the years is that there really isn't a lot there. I am sure it would be nice for plus size ladies to go into a place and find clothing that fit them. I know I would appreciate it if it were me buying. They also have salvation army but I am not sure if they take plus sized clothing. I never actually looked. I hope that helps... Shannon

Jen, Are you looking to sell your clothes or buy clothes? I live in South County and there's a place called "perrenials" in Wakefield and another place called "Jazzy" in North Kingstown. Both of them buy clothes. Jazzy is small but she has really nice clothing in there. I bought a few things there before and she had sizes up to 22-24 ( nice evening gowns and dress suits). Perrenials isn't so fancy but at least they know good quality clothing when they see them. Some of them give you cash....some of them give you credit to shop in their store. You'll have to call them and ask. Hope that helps! Megan B
