I've Got My Date!!!

Well, I saw Dr. Roye today & he said that all of my test results came back normal or better so.....my surgery is scheduled for October 19th!!! I am very excited (& a bit nervous too). The only concern (outside of the usual possible complications) is that the tissue from my previous hernia repair (done by Dr. Roye as well) may have attached to part of my bowel during the years since that surgery. This would then necessitate going from a laprascopic to an open procedure. I am sincerely hoping this is not the case & would really appreciate hearing from anyone who may have been in this same situation before bypass surgery. Thanks so much! Maureen
