A Question For Post-Ops...

Okay, this is a touchy, embarassing kind of question, but I feel like this is the kind of place I can ask it in. So here goes: Has anyone had the experience of feeling sore or pained when becoming arroused? Forgive me, but this is something that is becoming an issue. I am just shy of 6 weeks post-op, and am down more than 50 pounds since surgery. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks! Kristen J.

I was more "anxious" about sex than anything else... Is it pain or is it anxiety? Once I actually did "it" the after effects definitely made my mood better. Maybe if you are honest w/ your partner it will make it less painful for you & may actually be a good thing for you... Hope this helped... Be Well...Marianne

Marianne, it is definitely physical, not anxiety. I wouldn't call it necessaily pain, as sore, or uncomfortable. We've talked about it and he is completely understanding, but the discomfort is a bit distressing. Thanks for the thoughts! Kj
