Hi Pat.... I had intentions of going up to see you the other night but we didn't get out of the meeting until after 9pm and I knew you would've been tired. I'm so glad that everything went well with your surgery. Keep us all posted! I hope to meet you sometime in the near future! Take care Megan B

I feel good, but I went to the hospital dehydrated and had problems voiding. So I was catheterized for a day. I would suggest that everyone load up on water prior to surgery. There where two other ladies who also had the same dehydration problems. No names are on the hospital doors any more, must be a privacy issue so I went and introducted myself to the other patients, it made my stay more enjoyable. I itch like crazy but have no pain, if I wasn't so tired I could ride a bike! But I won't! Pat

Well I am just gald your home now and hopefully doing much better. I hope there are others there when I have my surgery. It would a real help to talk to people going through EXACTLY what I am giong through at the same exact time. I know someones mom has surgery the same day as me but I don't know who she is. Shannon

Shannon, I am looking forward to talking to you at the support group. You will know who the weight loss patients are, I found everyone was just friendly and where glad to have someone to talk to. See you next week. Pat

I can't wait to go. This will be my last official meeting as the old me. At the next meeting I will officially be re-born. hehehehe I should be fine enough to go to the meeting. I will be a little over 2 weeks post-op. If not I will borrow my grandfathers wheel chair and have my hubby wheel me in. I am so not kidding either. I enjoy these meetings and I don't want to miss any. I lined up a babysitter (my mom) so I won't have to worry about that. I look forward to seeing everyone there. Shannon
