I know I will probably regret this post... BUT...

We are all very passionate about our surgery experiences, whether positively or negatively. We all have to sort out the information we gain from here on our own and make the decision for ourselves. Our passion can cloud the facts, and we all have to be able to decipher fact from emotion. Perhaps if we can all keep our perspective, the nastiness will cease. Sometimes the best way to deal with people who have different opinions than ours is to not engage them at all. No audience, no arguement. Be well! Kristen

I don't see any reason you should regret this post. You are right. I think that there are just some people who feel very passionatly about this surgery and their weight loss that they get very upset when people trash this surgery and the doctors who preform it. I haven't had my surgery yet and the negative feedback hasn't scared me one bit. I trust the Dr. who will be preforming my surgery and I believe that I am making the best decision. I didn't give my opinion on the last post because I felt that those who did said exactly what I would have said. It is obvious to me that the person posting these bad things only does so to get people steamed. I am and have been a member on many other boards and it is my experience that no matter what you say and where you go there will always be someone out there who enjoys creating drama. I just try to remind myself that if I don't give into the drama they are looking for that they will eventually go away. Shannon
