Hungry/amount of food?
I have one major question for all the post -ops....how much do you eat at one sitting and if the hunger is normal? I am about 18-20 weeks post op.I have been eating more lately and seem to think i'm stretching the pouch. How can I control this? Is it possible to stretch the pouch so soon?I don't want to waste all the time, pain, work that I have put into this...please give me some advice here!!
I wish someone would answer this question with some re-assurance. I have some of the same worries as Connie and I've asked these same quesions:
Is is possible that a lot of us don't want to admit that we still have the desire to overeat?
That we may screw up on occasion?
That we are not "cured" ?
I am so happy that I had the surgery, I've lost a lot of weight but I still have food issues and worry about being able to contine losing, about wanting to eat the wrong foods and being able to eat too much at one meal, about stretching the pouch. etc etc.
This HAS to still be a problem for lots of us, right?
I too face the same issue, some days I feel like I eat everything in sight. I think we sometimes have to just stop and go back to the basics, protein, and water. My mom is preparing to go through this journey and I plan to go through it with her. I made my journey to the other side 13 months ago, I have hit the century club I have lost 103lbs but have hit a stand still. I went from a size 26/28 to a size 18. My goal is a size 14, though its not far away, I feel like it is never going to come. I am not complaining but I feel like the goal will never get there. I am going for a breast reduction in August and hopefully that will help with the weight loss, I would just like to jump start the loss all over again... bathing suit season is here and I want to show off the new me....
