daugherts nightmare surgery

I had WLS performed by Dr. Pohl. I was only in the first 30 or so of his gastric bypass surgeries. THis man is more than capable. If he told me he needed to remove my brain, I would let him. I read the profiles all the time and have been reading this board for 2 1/2 years. He is one in a million. Honest, sincere and very experienced. Good luck

Hi April I am sorry about your situation also. It must have been very difficult to make that decision not to have the surgery. My daughter said she would never go throught that surgery or any weight loss surgery ever again. I can't even imagine how she felt when she thought she was going to die. Cheryle was so sick. She had hoped for a more healthier life after this surgery but now she has to loose weight the hard way and diet. I realize it isn't easy for everyone to diet but it's better than the alternative and almost lose your life like Cheryle. Have you tried the low carb diets?? At least you can eat on those diets and not lose your hair, etc. I wish you t he best and I know you will make the right decision. regards, Mary
