Got back Saturday - now just a matter of healing and really learning how to live again. So far so good - just happy to be out of the hospital I missed my kids and husband well here is the beginning of the new life. Does anyone have week one suggestions - I see that CIB, jello and cottage cheese are going to get boring real fast Did others try soup etc. Any suggestions??

welcome home vikki!! I am pre-op so I have no suggestions for you but I just wanted to say congratulations and welcome home! I will be watching the board from post-ops with suggestions for you. Good luck in your journey! Lisa

At one week post op I was on full liquids and allowed to have strained, cream soup but the sight and smell of it was too much for me that I only had one tiny bit of it. Others seem to tolerate it okay though. I did enjoy chicken broth strained from regular chicken noodle soup. I have found that WLS is a lot of trail and error to found what agrees with you and what doesn't. Good luck and congrats!
