well tomorrow i go see dr harrington and will know or sorta know when my surgery will be.. the lady called me from there saying they lost some of my test results and that the dr will not even see me if i do not get them. You know what and im sorry but i would NEVER recommend him to anyone because his staff has givin me nothing but a hard time about everything. He is a good doc but his staff needs work. I am a professional and I worked in the past with doctors and if you lost someones test results you could get fired. i dont understand it. If i dont get to see him tomorrow im gonna be one pissed off person. i have been waiting since jan of 2001 for this surgery and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. i have gone through hell and back with the insurance ppl and now i need a date because i have a job offer in florida that starts in March and its making good money, for Sprint in orland. i finished school and now want my life to start. i know u have to recover for this surgery and all but i need this job, because the way it falls i will run out of unemployment in march. i saw him in june of 2002 for the consult and have been waiting and waiting and waiting. I dont know. but who ever reads this thanks for taking the time out to at least listen to me. Em

Hi, I am so sorry that you are having such a rough time of it.I can imagine that you are very upset but hang in there because having the surgery eventually is better than never having it. good luck and I hope things only get better. Sharon

Hi Sharon, So sorry to hear on all the delays for your surgery date. I know Dr Harrington has been a very hard to reach man of late. He is head of traumer at RI Hosp and has had all those poor people from the Station fire to deal with. As you might know there were over one hundred poor soles killed in that fire. It has been his job to take care of remaining people in RI hosp who were so horrable mamed by that fire. He surley is a saint and it takes a special person to deal with so much pain and destruction of a human body. You can be sure you have picked one of the finast DR in RI. As for his staff , i guess you could say we'er all intitled to mistakes once in a while. I know i'v made mine. Dr Harrington did my girlfriends surgery last fri and she did wonderful with a full open rny .I guess what I'm trying say is you have a choice as to what DR You choose to do your surgery. I know you chose one of the BEST! Good luck on your journey Paulene
