AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Can you hear it from the mountain tops????? Hellllloooooo World! I HAVE BEEN APPROVED! YES, ME! I can't believe it! ME, ME, ME! I have been approved!!! I am giddy with delight! I am flying!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL hey look.....is that earth I see down there? OMG...I am in the middle of writing this and Dan (my fiance) came in the room. What did I do....CRIED! :crying: I am so full of emotions I am shaking. All these emotions in a matter of 15 minutes. Only you people would understand what I am feeling. I thank you my AMOS family for sharing, giving, and caring. I can't believe that one day, I will be "normal" and healthy. I see diabetes becoming a thing of the past for me.
Thank God 2003 is over for me. And I welcome 2004! Happy New Year Everyone!
Joanne
Oh Joanne I am so happy for you. I have been watching your posts and I was so afraid it would take you a while to get approved because of your insurance. I have seen so many people with your insurance wait so long to be approved. I talked to Dr. pohl's office today to set up a date for my 2nd consultation (1/26). Hopefully that will be the day I get a surgery date set!! My Endoscopy is set for 1/9. Have you had that done yet? If so how was it? You've had a tough year 2004 is looking like a great year for you...you deserve it! Lisa
Hi Lisa!
Jannette at Dr. Pohl's office told me today that the doctor doing the endoscopy will be calling me tomorrow to set up an appointment. I hope it is soon. As soon as I know that date then I am going to call the sleep center and see if I can get in sooner for my second overnight test to be fitted for a cpap machine. Dr. Pohl won't do the surgery until I have my cpap machine. This is so exciting. The total time I waited for my insurance was actually 2 weeks at the most. They told Jannette that they didn't receive some faxes so she sent them right out and within days I had my approval. Jannette is so great at what she does. Hopefully my endoscopy will be around the same time as yours.
Joanne
