Hi All. This is my first post and I wish I had known about this site sooner! It is incredible. All I am asking for is for anyone *****ads this to say a little prayer for me. Monday is my surgery with Dr. Harrington. I have all the faith in the world in him, and I should be fine. I am 25 (26 on Christmas!!), in great health, and this is truly the greatest birthday gift I could be giving myself. Good luck to everyone! I will post after.

I remember you from the support group meeting!! You were sitting across the isle and one row back from me. I wish you all the best, you will be so happy when the pounds start coming off. You and your husband can help each other too - sounds like a great support system. I will be thinking of you on Monday and keeping a good thought.

Hi Erica, My name is Cindy and I had surgery on 8/26. I too am 25 and had no health problems during that time. I was the absolute best case scenario when it comes to recovery! NO complications, no huge issues, haven't vomited once since surgery 53 lbs. ago. Hope this will make you feel a little more at ease. Cindy

Hi All, This is Erica's husband writing in for her to let you all know whats up. She had the surgery yesterday, and after a tense day of waiting in which the OR nurse steadfastly, but politely, refused to let me see her in the recovery room I finally got to see her around 8pm last night. She was a little sore but otherwise in good condition. The doctor said everything went extremely well, and was very pleased with how it went. Nice man, I'd recommend Dr. Harrington to anybody looking into this. Dr. Roye seems nice too. Today, the day after, she's been up and walking. She's still sore, and will need lots of TLC but I'm convinced she'll do fine. Now its just a matter of time. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts and prayers. They were certainly appreciated. If anything changes I'll let ya'll know. Chris Mikaelian
