ANYONE HERE HAVE RITECARE?

Has anyone here have United Ritecare or any state medical and HAD the surgery? How long did it take to be approved? What doc did you see? How long after approval from Ritecare did you get your surgery appointment? I need a general idea of my timing. Joanne

Hang in there hon and don't you give up!! I have you and Emily both in my prayers. I have Blue Cross and was approved right away. But if your doctor can tell United that it is an emergency MAYBE that will speed United's decision. I had United Health not Ritecare and was denied last year because they had exclusions in their policy. I dont know about state medical. I am sure it is different. My best friend in California is on SSI and he had the surgery paid for by the state. I dont see why you wont be able too also. It seemed like it took him a while to get approved.
