Surgery date

 Hi, I'm new to the forum, and was wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom for me...my RNY is booked for 6/14/11. I am nervous and excited at the same time, but I would appreciate tips from those who have gone before! Thanks.

Wondering how you are feeling?

 Actually, better than I anticipated.  Post-op pain was not as bad as I thought.  The best thing was getting up right away and walking; I think that really helped.  The staff at Roger Williams were fantastic; I can't say enough good things about them.  It is amazing how long it takes to drink a shake/or fluids though; very strange, and definitely something that I need to get used to.
