Trying to get on track
I am so mad at myself! I had my bypass surgery Feb of 2007 and never really got down to an ideal weight but was doing well for a little over a year with maintaining a decent weight, but in the past 9 or 10 months have gained 45lbs. I can't seem to lose it and am seriously fustrated. I am still considered morbidly obese and don't know if I should look into a revision or find a non-surgical way. I may try to do it on my own and see what happens. I Have an appointment for Thurs with my surgeon, and I guess I will see what he says. Any input?
Don't you think that if you could do it on your own, you would have by now? You need to do something now before it goes too long. Why do you think you weren't able to do it in 07. Maybe you should take time to talk to a professional about this, to understand what was happening and how to avoid it in the future?
Good Luck!
Good Luck!
Have you tried the 5 day pouch test? If your pouch is still working, then you can go back to following the rules for using it as a tool? Forgive my ignorance if this is way off. I am still in the first year so I don't have any input other than what I have read about from other people struggling. Whatever ends up happening, I wish you the best!
