DS in RI?

does anybody know of surgeon's in ri doing the DS?  the internet has not been super helpful with this question.  :)

Could you call their offices and ask?  If they don't do it, you could ask if they know who does.  Have you researched surgeons in the Boston area?

From what I have seen/heard you need to be SMO to have a RI doc even think about it - and even then they are not really familiar with DS surgeries because they really do not do them - look in the Boston/Ny areas you will find someone experienced...

i figured i'd be travelling, i was hoping that one of the RI surgeons was beginning to branch out more.  harumph.

When I went to Dr. Giovanni's seminar they said that they have a dr come to Roger Williams and do the DS there. So it is an option through her office I believe. Try her, I'm dealing with her office. No date yet but she is super nice and so is her staff. Good luck!
