Time has come

Well it is that time, I have been reading here since October 09 and only recently started to post, I am superstitious and did not want to jinks anything until i was approved and had a date, now that the time arrived I would like to thank all the posters here, though we have never met and probaly never wil,l thanks!!!  From reading different post here alot of my questions have been answered and I new what questions to ask and to whom to ask.

Hi Billy. I  hope that you are home by now and feeling better from your surgery! Drop a note when you have a chance to update me how your doing.

Hello Melissa, i am home and doing ok, i do need to say that it was a little more painfull than I thought it would be, trying to get in purees and protein, not hungry at all, to be honest all i want to do is drink cold liquids, i use to like my drinks room temp, no more the colder the better.

Surgery went well, I had my done at The Mariam Hospital and what a great time I had there, could not have been more Happy if I was staying at a 5 star hotel, the Nursing care was exceptional. all i need now is to get the drain they put in me out on Tuesday and i am sure i will start to feel much better.

Good luck on the 16th i will say a prayer that everything goes well, keep in touch.

Im happy to hear you had a good experience and its a great thing that you're not hungry! I hope I have the same effect! Im going to RIH so I hope my experiences with the staff will be just as great. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and we'll chat once I'm home!

Hi Billy..Well I've gotten to the other side! Things so far are going great and feeling good! Thankfully I got home yesterday at 12 so I spent the day relaxing and hanging with my daugher as not shes on school vacation in DC with her High School choir.
How are you doing post op?
