hi everyone...

i am here to say "I FINALLY DID IT!!!"

it certainly has been a trying 9 months...but i am happy to report i have officially met my goal.  i have lost 120lbs...(hello...that's a person in itself)

a huge THANK YOU goes out to all who have been right by my side along this journey...without the help and support from family and friends and my extended family (which is all of you) i wouldn't be sitting here writing this post.
Through the good , the bad and the ugly... i /we have SURVIVED!!!

This year has been the most exciting for me. I have conquered so many fears that my weight allowed me to have. I am a new person with a new beginning! I look at it as a "new lease on life"
Not many people get this opportunity so i am beyond grateful!

I hope one day, i can give back what everyone has given to me along the way!

Please know, this is not a final post... i am forever a bariatric patient and friend!
I will still be here to encourage those that are just starting out, or for those who may be in the middle of their journey, and for those who may have already reached their goals.

this site has certainly proved it's presence, and i am forever grateful to all of you!!!!!!

take good care and be well!

OMG!!!!  THAT IS AWESOME!!!  I am so happy for you!  It is an amazing thing you have done for youself.  You should be so proud.  I remember back at the beginning in the hospital the anticipation of the new journey.  And look at you now baby!!  It is truly time to celebrate!  Is there an outfit you always wanted but felt like it could never be?  Well, i think its time to head to that store and whip out the credit card.  You so deserve to splurge on  yourself. You have worked sooo hard.  Now its time to reap the benefits!   Congratulations my friend.  I am soo proud of you!  You are in inspiration to us all!    Love ya!  Eldy

i am actually skipping out on the outfit buying and thinking of getting some plastics... actually, just one cosmetic procedure... my husband asked what i wanted and my answer was " boobs like i had in my 20's"    hahahahahaha   so that's what my reward is...
sorry if that was TMI for some of you..
