Follow Up Appointment
Ok so I had my follow up appointment on Friday and I have the say that I am VERY pleased as is the doctor it seems. The "official" number down since last May is definitely 101 pounds! I am extremely happy with that. I go back in 4 months and who the heck knows, maybe I'll be at goal then, well my goal, which is 250, of course I dont plan on stopping there, I want to continue to shrink. The 250 ound mark is just the spot that i NEVER EVER want to go to or over again!
So here is the other bit of good news, My wife and I went out shopping last night for a bit and ended up at Kohls. Now when I tell you that the only thing I have ever worn bought at Kohls was probably a pair of sneakers, so I wasnt planning on finding anything, however they were having a HUGE sale for Presidents day and I decided just for ****s and giggles to take a look at some jeans. Well I found a 44 which I thought would probably be ok but then I found a pair of $58 dollar jeans marked down to $5.80, problem was they were only a 42. I figured I'd try them on and see how far off I was, and if it wasnt to bad, I'd buy them. So I get into the dressing room and tried on the 44's, showed Michele and I'll be damned the things were to BIG!! I was like, WHAT?? SERIOUSLY?? So I tried on the 42's thinking these are still gonna be way to small, but thought what the hell. So as I started to pull them up, I was thinking, ok, feels a little snug, they wont get much higher, well then I got to the butt and holy crap, they were up!! I fit into a size 42!!! now they are a little snug in the legs and butt still, but I fgure 10-20 more pounds and they will fit perfectly!!! I couldnt believe it!! A 42!! I havent been in a 42 since HS.....I am still amazed that they fit!!
So anyway, thats my story about the doc's and shopping, I cant believe the transformation so far, it feels good to be able to shop at a "normal" store!!
