Funny Taste

Hey all.... I have a question... I was banded back in Oct of 2007.  I have recently come across a funny thing... every once in awhile, I get a funny taste in my mouth... almost as if I had lotion on my lips and licked my lips... but this is not the case... Could there be a problem with my band?
