Here's to a happ yand healthier New Year!!
Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a minute and say Happy New Year and see what everyone was happy with from 2009 and looking forward to in 2010.
For me, 2009 was a so-so year. It definitely had its ups and downs as it got off to a bad start, but seemed to get a bit better as it went on. For 2009 I am happy that I had the courage, support and inspiration to finally take the massive step to have my WLS. My wife was definitely my biggest supporter. My family and my in-laws have also all been extremely supportive of my journey. I have to say Dr. Roye is an amazing surgeon and I couldn't have been happier with my decision to have this with Dr Roye. As for saying goodbye to 2009, I am at my lowest weight since the 90's. I never thought that 335 pounds would feel so good!
As for 2010, i look forward to hitting my goal of 250 and going beyond! I am only 85 pounds away and since surgery on 10/15 I have lost 63 pounds so there is no reason the goal wont be obtained. Also I look forward to hopefully getting a new house (if our old one will finally sell). Most of all I look forward to another great year with the best wife any man could ever ask for and a much healthier life!
Once again, Happy New Year everyone! I hope its safe and prosperous!
