i am here to vent!!!!
i can NOT shake this last 2 pounds off to reach that 100 mark!   i have been in a rut for a few weeks now... lost 6 lbs in 4 weeks...the NUT says it's good, considering where i am...which is 6 months out and 98lbs later.
dont get me wrong, it's not that i am not happy with my results and where i am today, but it is so frustrating when i am that close to "100".... with 19 to go to reach my goal...(that will be the death of me)

i have reverted back to ALL the rules, protein shakes and kicked the exercise up a notch..hoping this will do it.
hoping to report back next week with good news...lol

if anyone has any insight to offer... please, by all means...send it my way!

take good care

linda

Looking back at my weightloss journey I had a bit of a stall at the 6 month mark and did not loose for a few weeks , then lost 5 pounds overnight,  Hang in there, check your measurements too.  I also had a stall where I did not loose anything for about 5 weeks recently but dropped a hwhole pant size during that time frame.  Then I cam out of it and have lost 15 pounds and I am 10 mos out so just keep following the plan and the weight should follow!

Hi Linda!

First of all...congrats on losing 98 pounds in six months! Wow Weee!!!

I found that as I got closer to my goal, the weight loss really slowed down. I remember the time I was frantic to lose was that 100 pound mark, getting into the magical ONEderland and that last 10 pounds to goal.

It was all like being a kid at Christmas and not being able to sleep the night before, waiting for day-break so I could open those presents....but the night just lasted for-e-verrrr!

You're doing great and you look absolutely amazing! Like Cynthia said, pay attention to the other good things going on with your body. Give it a little break. Time to settle. The weight will come off (just not in the time YOU want it to, unfortunately). Sounds like you're doing what you need to be doing. Patience is a virtue...it's sucks...but it's a necessary evil on this journey.

See you at the meeting next week!

Jules
