banana cream pie
hi all
hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving...
i just wanted to say i fooled them all !!!!
i made the banana cream pie recipe that i got from the meeting, and no one knew it was:
FAT FREE /SUGAR FREE!!!!!!!
the whole pie was gone within minutes, and everyone raved about how good it was...
as i chuckled to myself, and said thank you....
i walked away realizing....things can taste great and still be good for you....
IF THEY ONLY KNEW!!....LOL
thanks again for the recipe!!!
take good care
Linda
Hey Linda!
Very cool! I did the same will all my cooking except the candied yams (ditto what Eldy said) and my aunt brought fruit pies with sugar added. I made all the deserts SF & FF and no one cared or noticed! Coconut cream, Chocolate cream & Key Lime pies. I also made Lemon Tarts, Cranberry nut bread & Banana nut bread! Amazing! And even though they were all made healthy...I didn't even want any so I didn't have any!
I'll do the same for Xmas!
I'm so happy and grateful!
See you at the next meeting!
Jules

it's too soon to get discouraged, so if we can help, bring it on..that's what we are all here for.
we also have meetings at rwmc that julie nolan puts on... they are great!!! i believe they are the 3rd wednesday of every month..but definately check that out...
until we meet...
