So Friday night at work I got a sudden onset of severe upper abdominal pain which bought me an overnight visit to the Miriam. An x-ray, CT scan and ultra sound later they're calling it a gall bladder attack.......but they're are NO stones!!! I've been feeling better but need to take baby steps with food again. A little discomfort today but see Dr V on Thursday morning!!! Oh ya, so Sunday night I slipped and fell head first down my stairs and now have 2 lovely black eyes, 2 lovely lacerations and 1 quite possibly broken nose.......Way cute!!!!!

Sometimes you can have a GB attack with sludge only or it may be that the "attack" caused a small stone to pass through the bile duct, luckily you didn't get one that got stuck in the bile duct.  That happened to me several years ago where 2 were stuck in the common bile duct and I had to have emergency surgery.  Sorry you fell, that must have hurt really badly.
